As a graduate of Visual Studies and Fine Art History from the University of Toronto, Samantha applies contemporary and classical art references to her work. She believes in a polished sophistication. At the same time, Samantha likes to experiment with new colors, textures, tools and techniques. Studying art has allowed Samantha to be creative and innovative in her approach to makeup.

Samantha is a New York-based makeup artist. She has assisted some of the top makeup artists in the industry. She has worked with Tom Pecheux, Dick Page, Stephane Marais, Fulvia Farolfi and Hung Vanngo. Some of the shows that Samantha has taken part in are Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin, Elie Saab, Balmain, Rochas, Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, The Row, Derek Lam, Altuzarra, Vera Wang and Victoria's Secret.

The brands that Samantha have worked with are Ralph Lauren, Polo Ralph Lauren, Céline, Gap, DKNY, Net-A-Porter, Tory Burch, Rebecca Taylor, Banana Republic, CK Jeans, Victoria's Secret, Topshop, H&M, Aritzia and Urban Outfitters.
